Avenbury Lakes was built as a conservation development which requires that a minimum of 40 percent of the community must be dedicated to open spaces. More than 48 percent of the 146 acres comprising Avenbury Lakes is dedicated to wetlands, lakes, walking trails and green areas. There are 352 ranch style homes that were built between 1996 – 2006.

4/18 – AVENBURY 2024 HOME TOUR – The Community Fund is proud to announce the 2024 Avenbury Home Tour in conjunction with the Silver Anniversary Celebration. Please save the date, Saturday, September 7, 1:00 – 4:00 PM. More information to follow as it gets closer.
SPA UPDATE – The spa is open but the jets are not working. Please don’t turn them on until we have new parts.
COMMUNITY MANAGER UPDATE – Since our Community Manager retired, at the first of the year, Lawrence Community Management Group has had one of their long-time Community Managers step in to help us here at Avenbury. For the past two weeks, Kristina Henry has been an interim manager spending one day a week here at Avenbury Lakes. Kristina seems knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with. Starting February 1st Kristina will be here full-time until we can find a permanent Community Manager. When a permanent Manager is hired, the CM and the Board will search for a new maintenance person. Please welcome Kristina Henry to Avenbury Lakes.
