Avenbury Lakes was built as a conservation development which requires that a minimum of 40 percent of the community must be dedicated to open spaces. More than 48 percent of the 146 acres comprising Avenbury Lakes is dedicated to wetlands, lakes, walking trails and green areas. There are 352 ranch style homes that were built between 1996 – 2006.

4/25 – FOUNTAIN UPDATE – Aqua Doc has been contacted and they are aware of several issues with the fountains. There were mechanical issues with the south ponds upon installation and they will be repaired. The north pond fountain by the Lodge will be adjusted and all timers will be checked.
We are waiting to hear from Aqua Doc on when they will be on the premises.

4/24 – LODGE CLEANING – The exterior of the Lodge will be cleaned on Monday, April 29 by Scenic Pine. A bee treatment will also be applied.
4/23 – BINGO! FRIDAY, APRIL 26 – Doors open at 6:30 PM games start at 7:00 PM. Bring your dauber and a drink. Snacks will be provided. Bingo cards for twelve games will be $10 and prize money will be determined by how many Bingo cards are sold. Please sign up in the Activity Book at the Lodge and pay, the cost is $1.00 per person.
4/23 – CHESS CLUB – The newly formed chess club meets every Thursday from 1-3:00 PM in the Lodge library. All levels of skill are welcome, including those who want to learn to play. Contact Bob Peter w/ questions.
4/18 – AVENBURY 2024 HOME TOUR – The Community Fund is proud to announce the 2024 Avenbury Home Tour in conjunction with the Silver Anniversary Celebration. Please save the date, Saturday, September 7, 1:00 – 4:00 PM. More information to follow as it gets closer.
SPA UPDATE – The spa is open but the jets are not working. Please don’t turn them on until we have new parts.
COMMUNITY MANAGER UPDATE – Since our Community Manager retired at the end of 2023, Lawrence Community Management Group brought one of their long-time Community Managers to step in. Kristina will be here full-time until we can find a permanent Community Manager. When a permanent CM is hired, the CM and the Board will search for a new maintenance person. Please welcome Kristina Henry to Avenbury Lakes.
