MISSION STATEMENT

The Avenbury Lakes Social Committee will oversee the development and execution of various social activities for Avenbury Lakes Residents under the direction of the Avenbury Lakes Board of Directors. Working closely with the Lodge Administrator, the Committee will plan various get-togethers for the enjoyment of the Avenbury Lakes Residents, recruit residents to direct and support the activities and see that all activities are conducted in a fiscally responsible manner.
 
The Committee will be open to input from all residents and attempt to provide an agenda of many different types of get-togethers for residents.
  
EVENT VOLUNTEERS
 
In the fall each year at the annual Coffee Klatch new and not-so-new residents meet to become acquainted and to catch up on neighborly news. At that meeting sign up sheets are made available for those interested in helping out on specific Social & Recreation functions through out the year.  In addition there should be sign up sheets available at the Avenbury Lodge.
