Avenbury Lakes was built as a conservation development which requires that a minimum of 40 percent of the community must be dedicated to open spaces. More than 48 percent of the 146 acres comprising Avenbury Lakes is dedicated to wetlands, lakes, walking trails and green areas. There are 352 ranch style homes that were built between 1996 – 2006.

9/23 – NEW COMMUNITY MANAGER – Lawrence Management is pleased to announce the Ruth Angell will begin her new position as Community Manager for Avenbury Lakes HOA  Wednesday, September 25. Ruth will be receiving orientation to the community and meeting with the Board and staff during her first few days here. She is looking forward to getting started and meeting and working with residents. 

9/22 – ANNUAL CRAFT SHOW – Mark your calendars for November 3, 11a-3p! Watch for more information in the October Breeze. The vendor sign up sheet will be in the Activity Book on Oct 1. 

9/18 – WELCOME NEW STAFF MEMBER – Your board of directors is pleased to announce the newest addition to the Avenbury Lakes staff, Laurie Lynch!  Laurie is our new Activities Director/Lodge Administrator and comes to our community with a broad range of experience that covers the business, service, and hospitality industries that will serve our residents well.  Her hours are 9am-2pm Monday through Friday Stop by the Lodge and introduce yourself and welcome Laurie to the Avenbury Community!   

9/11 – 25th ANNIVERSARY – The Board of Directors would like to thank the Social Committee for hosting Avenbury Lakes’ 25th Anniversary event, attended by over 200 residents. The event included a Saturday Home Tour (coordinated by the Community Fund Committee), a Quilt drawing (made by the Quilt Club), and an Avenbury Four Season Wall (photography and paintings submitted by the Art Club). The Sunday afternoon Lodge Gala provided outstanding food, live music by Gene Braden, and many years of photos for a video (provided by Bob Sexton, Avenbury Historian). All enjoyed the Anniversary.

7/5 – RULES RELATED TO FAMILY MEMBERS & GUESTS – Avenbury Lakes Rules & Regulations state that if family members or guests want to use any of our facilities that the resident must be present. This includes, but is not limited to fishing in our ponds/wetlands, indoor/outdoor pools & spa, bocce ball court, putting green area, tennis/pickleball court and equipment, fitness room, game room/library in Lodge, etc.

6/24 – INDOOR POOL CLEANING VOLUNTEERS are needed. Please contact Mike Teichman at mjteichman@yahoo.com 

5/6 – SOUTHAMPTON ROOFING – Monday, May 13 Final Touch will begin replacing the roofs on Southampton. Please be advised when traveling on Southampton there will be increased activity and large machinery due to the roofing project. Additionally, please be aware when traveling the street there may be an increase chance of picking up a nail in your tires that go undetected during this project. If you think you have picked up a roofing nail in your tire, please save that nail, bring to the Information Center and it will be reported to Final Touch.

SPA UPDATE –  The spa is open but the jets are not working. Please don’t turn them on until we have new parts..
